Im hoping somebody may be able to point me in the right direction here with a fresh install of SEC 5.5
Situation: We have an old server with SEC 5.2.2, the box is near dead and we have installed 5.5 on a new server. The install worked fine and everything seems to run OK. I am new going through the Download Security Software wizrd and when i enter our license username and password in, it accepts it (if i intentionally try to put the wrong credentials in then it give a logon failed message) it pauses for a short while and then we get a message to say the following:
Enterprise console is trying to download product information that is needed for the next step. this could take several minutes, Do you want to continue waiting?
When i select yes, it pauses for about few minutes before showing the same message again. I hit yes over 20 in a row times to absolutely no avail.
We have confirmed that we can indeed connect to the update pages over pot 80.
I have raised this with support but i cant get through to them and ive not had anything back for a day or so with them now, this is really holding up our plans so any help is massively appreciated
