Sophos can't detect virus make all folders shortcut

I am really sorry you faced this problem where Sophos allegedly did not stop this malware. 

I would like to inform that we have a specific Group called Malware Questions where this question should be rightly placed - https://community.sophos.com/products/malware/

Coming to the issue at hand, do you have an open Support Case ID with us?
