Trusted Sites?

We have some intranet sites that use sharepoint 2007 and 2010.  Some of our dropdowns for navigation aren't working but are noticing when we disable sophos they do work.

I think some intranet files are trying to be sent to sophos maybe?  Is there a way to "trust" intranet sites or specific websites with certain domains?

  • Hi,

    Couple of things to try....

Are you able to try SAV 10 on a machine as a test?  It sounds like you're having a problem with the BHO.  This is replaced in 10 with an LSP.

With 9.7 (if you can't move to 10 straight away) and the BHO.  If IE classifies a site as being in the "Intranet" zone it will not be scanned.  Do all components of your intranet page get classified as "intranet' zone or does it report as 'mixed'?  If not can you add your intranet address to the intranet zone, does this help?  This would show the problem to be a scanning issue rather than just the presence of the BHO.
