I am trying to figure out which services apply to what policies in regards to web control. I would like to have web control completely disabled on our servers (including its services), we had previously done this when we were on the on prem version of Sophos by applying a group policy that would block the Web Intelligence services.
The issue we face now is that on Central, if we have this group policy in place, the servers show a critical error in the console, despite this being a change we want.
What I have done so far is, turn off Web Control site blocking in the Web Protection policy, but I am not sure if this will completely kill off the Web Intelligence services from running in the background and interfering with other processes. Is there a way to prevent these services from running without causing the status to show critical constantly?
