Want to modify the Email Alert settings from within Sophos Central

Is this true? is there really no way to modify the emails you receive?

  • This is true.  I requested a change for this over a year ago and didn't get a response.  If you are going to use the email alerts to trigger a ticket with your ticketing system, I recommend setting up a rule in outlook to forward only the high alerts.  This is what I done as a work around until they applied that feature.  

     

  • Good look! I will do this personally with mine. I would like to be able to do what ePO did with their email system where I could select who it was sending those emails to, but there are not options to edit that it just pings us on everything. That is okay for now, but it will get annoying when we get our entire network on Sophos. I also talked with their support and found this link:

    This is the closest idea to what I want that has the most upvotes. Chip your votes in there so that we can get it!

    Apparently they have it planned for it to come "soon" they stated that it was coming in the next 12 months, which is in 2 months, so we will see if they follow through with that.
