SophosInstall.exe Deployment through Active Directory

Have you tried the version here:

I assume that your script works as the logged on user but when run as a startup script and therefore running as system the mapped drive work is maybe failing?

Checked this morning and the script that I used in the code section of my post worked! Thank you for taking the time to review this. I was going to try the pushd popd thing next if it didn't push through AD.

The script works for me but it is requiring the user to enter in the administrator password which they do not have. We have 500 computers at different locations to deploy and really need it to be a silent install without end user interaction. Your recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the script is running on system boot so that it runs with the local system account instead of an account with credentials. 

"Z:\SophosInstall.exe" -q -tps remove

is all you need, but make sure the stuff before the .exe is pointing to the file. If you need any assistance feel free to shoot me a PM. We are also deploying to about 500 computers.

In the end did you solved your credential issue ? i also tried this script and at reboot, the administrator password is required.

I've been lookign everywhere and could not find anything to help me with that.
