Debugging in Lazarus/fpc is slowed down by HitmanPro.Alert service

Question

Hello, 
 starting from today (27/08/2024) debugging in Lazarus ( https://www.lazarus-ide.org/ ) with Free Pascal Compiler ( https://www.freepascal.org/ ) as backend is getting tremendously slow. 
 If I disable the HitmanPro.Alert service everything runs smooth again. This seems to be related with question #146852 ( Debugging in Delphi is slow ) even if Lazarus is a completely different ide. 
 Lazarus version is 3.2 and FPC version is 3.2.2. 
 Sophos HitmapPro Alert is V. 3.9.4.992. 
 Any tips about how to solve the problem?

Hello Domenico, Thank you for reaching out to the community forum. For the Delphi issue, we have released MR2 on our FTS, which solves the issue. Can you try performing some testing on your side by adding a test device to the MR2 release and observe the behavior? You can use the below token for testing. And let us know the outcome.
