Remove Endpoint Client without password

Question

Hello, 
 I have a Windows 11 Pro Client that has a Sophos Endpoint Protection Client installed. 
 But in Sophos Central the client is not listed any more. 
 When I start an update on the client manually, there comes an error. 
 I can&acute;t find any way to remove or reinstall the client. I allready tried to boot in safe mode to deactivate the services or remove reg entries. But it is all write protected. 
 Is there any way to remove the client without the password?

 We appreciate your reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum. 
 If you can't find the tamper protection password in Sophos Central, you can use the tamper protection password recovery option. Please refer to this article for a step-by-step process: Recover a tamper protected system . You can't uninstall sophos from the device without a tamper protection password. 
 Note: You must follow the recovery steps in recovery mode, not safe mode. 
 Once you have a tamper protection password, you can use the sophos ZAP tool to completely remove the sophos from the device.
