Adding exceptions to Peripheral Control policy

Hi,

School I'm working at has decided that all removable USB Memory sticks are to be banned and restricted only to specific departments. It's all well and good, but there will be an influx of new devices, that would have to be added as exceptions and allowed to access the system. I've looked around Sophos Central and couldn't find an option to add exemption via model or serial number. It seems that the only way to add exemptions is when device is connected to the system and then added through pop-up dialog box and ticking the devices that tried to access the system previously.

Is there any way to add or import peripheral exemptions without plugging them in to a domain joined endpoint?

Thank you in advance for you advice.
