Repeated scan starting message

I use Sophos home premium (corporate edition) and since a MS Visual Studio download was "recognized" as malware, now I get a daily message that the AV will soon be scanning my computer. I can close the window or click "move" or "later". The result is the same - nothing happens.
I have already performed a manual scan, the message still appears.

I submitted Visual Studio for inspection when I raised the original "False Positive" report, so please don't ask me to submit the files again.

I see this problem has been reported before and no resolution was offered.
