Linux Server protection with Hertbeat

Hello,

Recently we wanted to implement a Linux Server into a VLAN that maches Sophos Heartbeat correct status to access the internet.

I added a temporal exception to install the Sophos Agent and checked after the status in the firewall Sophos. It seems to be "healthy"

When I turned my exception off I try to access internet but i couldn't. I wonder if I could see the server in the Control Center > Heartbeat section and I was unable to see it:

Do I need to take some aditional steps to activate heartbeat in this machine? The server is a fresh installation of Debian 11 Bullseye.

The current Sophos Server Protection for Linux does not support heartbeat. The legacy Linux Endpoint (SAV) does support heartbeat, but is retiring in July.

So, what is going to happen in July with the heartbeat? Is there any plan to add this feature in the Server Protection?

I'm not able to see the security heartbeat feature on the current product roadmap list for SPL. I suggest reaching out to your Sophos Account Manager to inquire further about this, as they can also assist in submitting a feature request for this to be added.
