New Sophos Support Phone Numbers in Effect July 1st, 2023

Endpoint slow down internet speed 2.0

This is going to be a follow-up of the post made here:  https://community.sophos.com/intercept-x-endpoint/f/discussions/137014/endpoint-slow-down-internet-speed 

We are still experiencing issues regarding Sophos. When Sophos is enabled the internet speed is slow, while if it's disabled the numbers go much higher. We used speedof.me for the testing.

Sophos is running the most up-to-date version. Do we know the fix for this?

    Thanks for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum. 

    I suggest checking if you have the following flag enabled in the registry. If this is not yet set, I suggest trying this out to see if there are any improvements when the change is applied. 
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Sophos Endpoint Defense\EndpointFlags
    modernweb.offloading.enabled = 1

    If this is successful for you, please raise a support case with our team either from the Support Portal, or by calling the regional phone numbers available on the following page under "For Critical Cases".

    You will be asked for information related to the performance issues you're experiencing, as well as information related to your Sophos Central environment so our team can verify the specifics of your issue and proceed to move your Site into an earlier release group so that this flag change is applied across your devices.
