SAVDI replacement?

Gene - As you mentioned, we do not sell or support SAVDI any longer.  There is no direct replacement, but Intelix can be used in some scenarios but would require some dev skills to utilize it.  Depending on your scenario, I would recommend you reach out to your sales team, including your local SE to dig a bit deeper to see if Intercept would meet the requirements.  Keep in mind that InterceptX has settings (usually when the Threat Protection Policy is left to "recommended") that scans local and remote files that may be on file shares, etc.

Real-time scanning scans files as users attempt to access them. It allows access if the file is clean.

Local files are scanned by default. You can also select this option:

• Remote files: This scans files on network shares.

Anything cloud based (Intelix) will not work for my needs, and on access scanning is not sufficient for what I am wanting to do.

If I understand your response correctly, Sophos has nothing to offer for my needs?

There is no equivalent full file scan function with Intelix.  So if you need local file scanning, full file scanning, scans via ICAP interface, or cannot send files outside their organization then Intelix would not be the right choice.

SAVI and SAVDI are still available to OEM customers and I would recommend engaging your local sales team and allow them to review your requirements to see if OEM licensing is appropriate for your scenario.  SUSI is a new offering in the OEM portfolio, this is the SAVI engine plus machine learning.
