website blocked by sophos

Can you also confirm what type of sites you’re currently accessing? One of the reasons you get blocked access was due to a site categorization that is currently being blocked on your web control policy.

These are standard websites like Deepl.com, süddeutschezeitung.de, ups.com, br.com.......Before I installed sophos, this was not a problem. At the moment I have uninstalled sophos from the clients because they are not working. I've opened a ticket with sophos, but apparently the support is in India and they only answer me after 6pm, when no one can be reached at my clients. They always switch off their computers overnight.

First off, provide a screen shot of the block page please. That will tell you what element is causing the block. If it is an HTTPS site, then we need to look into the policy because the block page won't have anything on it.

Einfacher war die Web Policy zu āndern. Sie haben die Werkzeuge aber wissen nicht wie die functioneren oder was damit zu tun.

Hello, Problem is solved, problem was aktivated (default setting!) "Erkennung schädlichen Verhaltens (Diese Einstellung gilt für Computer, auf denen die aktuelle Version des Core Agent ausgeführt wird. All described problems are solved with deaktivating this switch!

Thank you for your confirmation. If great to hear that issue has been solved now. I will now mark your reply as a verified answer.

"Erkennung schädlichen Verhaltens" is the recommended settting of your Endpoint Protection -> Policies -> Base Policy - Threat  Protection.

You just lowered the protection against viruses and zero-day treats. Any detection would lead to a case in the dashboard. Please share the case details if they happened, IMHO I have never had a normal website being blocked for this reason only once that had real exploits.

Please leave Base Policies as they are, create new policies, change the settings as needed and assign them to computer groups / computers as required.

The policy to look at again is Endpoint Protection -> Policies -> Base Policy - Web Control.
