AD Sync is not synchronizing after switching from AD creds to API creds

Hello all, 

I did the changes from AD credentials to API credentials today.

After I set it up the tool is freezing in this state and didn't continue:

"Sending data to Sophos Central to determine changes that would be applied". Sync status: Preparing sync preview.

Already restarted the server, repaired the tool, created three new API Credentials to be sure etc.

Tool and Credentials are up-to-date ->  Validate credentials "Credentials are correct!". Sync Tool -> "Program is up to date".

Is there a way to change back to AD Credentials ? Worked fine with it till today. 

Maybe you have an idea why the tool is not moving forward. If not I will just do a recovery of the whole server including the AD Sync tool tomorrow if nobody knows why.

    I too am having this problem.  Switched to API credentials and it worked initially but now it's stuck at 'Sending data to Sophos...' and Sync Status is:  Preparying sync preview.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled the sync tool.  It appears ours stopped working on 7/18.
