Hi, we have an active Sophos Intercept X Endpoint for Server in place. Either Client and also Central say: "Sophos File Scanner Stopped".
But service is running:
So what is going wrong and foremost: If something is wrong: How to solve it.

The service you see in Services is "Sophos File Scanner Service" - "C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos File Scanner\SophosFS.exe"
Sophos Health also monitors processes. So in this case it's the the child process of the service that is failing.
Service log:
C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Sophos File Scanner\Logs\SophosFS.log
Child processes:
C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Sophos File Scanner\Logs\SophosFileScanner.log
Could you check those logs.
Out of interest is the "Cryptographic Services" - CryptSvc running OK?
