Anyone seen the system extension for SophosScanD refuse to be be allowed? Via the Security & Privacy pane, I've tried to enable both system extensions (SophosWebNetworkExtension and SophosScanD), but after checking the boxes and pressing OK nothing happens. The "Details" button persists with the option to enable those extensions.
I've tried to manually remove the extensions, and even a full remove and re-add of the application with no success...

Thank you for providing the details. Are you running macOS Big Sur? Are you trying to turn on the extensions while you're remotely connected to the Mac device or are you trying this while being present in front of the device?

as you discussed through DM You had to wipe and restore in order to get Sophos up and running properly. Though you attempted manually removing the "stuck" extensions from within the contents of the App->Sophos folder, and via terminal commands. Nothing would release them and there was no way to approve them either. You may try to refer to this community post for removing system extensions that are currently stuck on the system by referring to this link.
Also, can you confirm if you’re using JAMF OS on this device?
