How to install Intercept X Advanced ? ( Not EDR )

Hello Community!

I created Sophos Central Trial for my customer POC and downloaded Intercept X Advanced with EDR without device encryption.

I used the command line '--products=antivirus,intercept'.

However, contrary to my expectation that 'Intercept X Advanced' will be installed, 'Intercept X Advanced with EDR' was Installed.

What I did..

--products=antivirus
-> Central Endpoint Protection was installed.

--products=Intercept
-> Only Intercept X was installed.

--products=Intercept,antivirus
-> Intercept X Advanced with EDR was installed.

Please let me know how to install just 'Intercept X Advanced' (Not EDR) for Windows

    With the Sophos Central Trial license you have access to the full portfolio of Sophos. This means that you automatically also are in the Trial for Intercept X Advanced w/ EDR. This causes the installation of EDR capabilities. When you install the agent via CLI, available options are: 

    • antivirus, 
    • intercept, 
    • mdr, 
    • deviceEncryption 
    • all. 

    Intercept with EDR is not an available option itself, it's just "activated" with the normal intercept product when you have a license for EDR - what you have as you are under trial.
