Sophos event history after a laptop rebuild

Hello all,

Hopefully someone can help..

Just curious, and that is when a laptop is re-imaged with a corporate build on,

does the reinstall of Sophos on top of that clear the event history of Sophos End Client that

was on there before?

We are going to re-image some laptops, and don't have access to Admin Sophos as another dept

looks after that side, and were just having a debate if it removes the history. I'm guessing it would?

Thanks

Lee

  • Hi Lee,

Yes, you’re right It will remove the existing endpoint on the client when you perform re-imaging of those machines. However, it would be best if you can also access the central dashboard where those clients are currently being managed in order for you to remove them as well on the dashboard for those newly re-image machines to be registered as fresh once.
