Windows Insider Build 21277.1000 - Green Screen Crash

Hi Guys,

I run the Windows Insider Preview on a PC at home and after updating to Build 21277.1000 this morning the PC began constantly crashing logging into the PC (would load to login screen fine and stay there - crash was about 30 seconds after logging in) with a familiar Green Screen stop crash and bugcheck. A quick troubleshoot and I found that its definitely being caused by Sophos Intercept X Endpoint and I have disabled it in startup.

Any ideas how to fix or do I need to wait until a new version of the Intercept X Client?

I see, at least on my computer, in the file:
C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos UI\integrity.dat
savapi.exe is no longer listed so that should fix it.

As I understand it, savapi.exe will be removed from the product when the SAV component is removed. I wouldn't expect to see a bugcheck on a computer where savapi.exe is not in the file C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos UI\integrity.dat.

Hi Sophos User2062,

As per above post by Sophos User930, this has been fixed already for Sophos Side. Microsoft is going to confirm that the bug will be fixed prior to shipment in any release other than the Insider Channel Pre-Releases, and understands that Sophos would request that they put an Update Block in place if that was not the case.
