Could you please check under SophosUpdate.log for the endpoints which have experienced this issue? Are there any recent changes in your network? If so, Your firewall rules need to be checked to include all of the locations listed in this article.

There was an issue with the synchronization of the file which is used for updating the devices. This issue has been fixed from the backend a week earlier. apologies for the inconvenience.
