Endpoint / Intercept Licensing Qs

Hi Community!

We are currently using Endpoint Security and Control via the Enterprise Console. Due to these products going EOL, we are debating replacement options. Our current install was made and maintained by a Sophos partner, which no longer is in business. If I understand the current licenses correctly, we are entitled to 25ea Endpoint S&C installs, and this seems to include Servers. Additionally, there is a license for Exchange AV.

Now we would need to find the follow-up product and have the correct licensing. We tried to reach the old partner (and learned they are no longer), we tried to have a new partner (which didn't quote even after weeks) and Sophos sales (in Germany) promised a couple of times to forward my questions, but we never received a reply from there. I would like to at least find out what is needed license wise and then contact a couple of partners.

We are looking at 20 Windows Clients and 5 Windows Servers, both hardware and virtual. One of the servers is our Exchange and needs to be covered as well. What licenses are needed?

A) Sophos Central, Endpoint Protection.

B) Sophos Central, Intercept X (which seems to be endpoint + anti-ransomware)

1) Tier levels for client and servers seems to be 1-25, and then 25+ -- are we entitled to 25+ pricing if we buy 21 clients and 5 servers? So allowed to mix these?

2) What is needed to proctect exchange (server itself, plus the user mailboxes)?

3) Are we entitled to RENEWAL licenses as we are migrating from endpoint s&c on enterprise console? Is there some upgrade-discount-path?

That is the questions for now, guess I will add a couple once they come up.

Thank you,

Axel
