IaaS connector functionality for Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure is being removed from the Intercept X Advanced for Server (SVRCIXA) and Central Server Protection (SVRC) licenses. It is being replaced by the more comprehensive capabilities of Sophos Cloud Optix. Note that this does not affect the protection capabilities for cloud workloads in Intercept X Advanced for Server or Central Server Protection.
The current IaaS connector functionality will no longer be available in Intercept X Advanced for Server and Central Server Protection from July 1, 2021.
Cloud Optix and Cloud Optix for EDR (included in the Intercept X Advanced for Server with EDR license) have access to similar functionality as well as much broader cloud visibility and cloud security posture management options.
More information about Cloud Optix can be found here: https://docs.sophos.com/pcg/optix/help/en-us/pcg/optix/concepts/AboutOptix.html

Hi Don, there is no impact to server protection, or the agent running on your cloud hosted servers. These changes relate only to the additional services offered; such as insight into S3 buckets and visibility of all instances, regardless of agent deployment.
How does this affects our existing server licenses? What are our options? For example, if we switch to Cloud Optix can we get prorated pricing for the current service period? Do our servers remain protected if we make no changes until it is time to renew?
