I'd like to reuse an encrypted harddisk for use in the same PC. I don't need any data from the harddisk. I only want to use the PC with a new operating system. I tried to recover an Acronis .tib image, didn' t work. I tried to format it with another PC with Windows 7 program (connect HD via USB cradle), didn't work. I tried to install Windows 7 from installation DVD, didn't work. Formatting with Acronis (backup and recover or true image home 11) didn't work. Does anyone knows a program or procedure that I can use the harddisk anymore? Or means encryption the loss of hardware? Thanks for answers. :38583

I'd like to reuse an encrypted harddisk for use in the same PC.
