Installing updates on Sophos anti-virus

Having difficulty with updates on the free tools Sophos anti-virus.

I typed

sudo /opt/sophos-av/bin/savupdate 

in the terminal and receive the following error:

Failed to download 'sdds:Sophos': invalid authentication. Please check PrimaryUpdateUsername and PrimaryUpdatePassword


No idea what this means or how to proceed[:^)]

for further questions in conjunction with the Free version please join the Free Tools group and post there.
Normally AutoUpdate is configured during install (not sure if you can skip it). Please use sudo /opt/sophos-av/bin/savsetup to display the current configuration when prompted. If the location is set to Sophos but the credentials are missing please see this post by Douglas Leeder.
