Sav for Linux: High UDP Ports

I just installed SAV for linux free version. I was wondering why savscand opens these high udp ports and if its possible to close them?

[root@l~]# netstat -tulnp
Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name

udp 4608 0 0.0.0.0:36656 0.0.0.0:* 1249/savscand
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:54017 0.0.0.0:* 1249/savscand
udp 3072 0 0.0.0.0:40971 0.0.0.0:* 1249/savscand
udp 3072 0 0.0.0.0:42822 0.0.0.0:* 1249/savscand
