Download Wizard - Progress Status

Hi,

Don't know if I missed something but I believe it would be nice to have a "download progress status bar" to show how long it takes to finish or if any error is found.

    guess this applies to Endpoint Protection so it's better to post it there.

    Anyway - where exactly do you want to see this progress bar, i.e. which downloads are you talking about?

    uhmm... Download Manager. I mean after you add/select a package to be downloaded (suscription) .i.e. "Linux 7 Recommened.."

    :smileytongue: You are actually watching the beast if you change a subscription? Nothing else to do??? :smileywink: Seriously - at best it'd be a rough estimate, after download comes the decoding and then deployment. If something fails you'll see the error after a few minutes. So what good would a progress bar do? Keep in mind that the progress information has to travel from SUM to Management Server and database to (remote) console - quite expensive (especially considering it'd be rarely used). Christian
