Big parts have been relaunched over the weekend. As I'm the conservative type major changes always scare me :smileywink:. It'll probably take some days to get familiar with the new design.
A big change I noticed immediately is that the redesigned analyses no longer contain the Action tab (or an equivalent) - instructions are now in the Summary view (making a lot of posts/replies obsolete). To give it a chance I've checked a few well-known "friends" (might want to note that the button for starting a search reads Submit which confused me at first):
- Troj/TDL3Mem: the entry for Troj/TDL3Mem-B contains no instructions at all (not even the advice to contact support); as this was the only threat reported in the last "encounters" I'd be practically left with no instructions or advice on how to deal with it
- W32/Ramnit-A: another one recently seen, no instructions (although it is shown as Cleanable in SEC)
- Mal/Packer - can be found from the link in the client details but not when used as search argument: searching for packer alone claims to return 56 entries but paging forward it stops at page 4 with 36 the last entry
Might be bad luck :smileyhappy: (and might have been like this before). And I have the impression that it is slower than before.
Still I might start to like the new design once I'm getting used to it ...
