I would like to see stand alone web protection (small client software package to install on PCs) that can be controlled from a central location. Other products have this, (ie Barracuda, iPrism) but Sophos doesnt. The other products use cloud based systems that allow the policies to sync with the manufactor cloud and deliver updates to the clients that way. It was one reason i moved to you guys but was unfortunately led the wrong way. Your products to me are rock solid, but I need the ability to control web traffic of laptops that may not be part of my network.
I have 350 computers on my network/domain. I have around 15 that are not part of this domain and are always off network. If i could control their web filtering as well as AV from a central location it would be awesome.
Oh and hurry up and work out the bugs with UTM 9.1 all ready! :robotvery-happy:
