Sophos for OS-X hangs when cleaning up Mal/Iframe-W

Not sure of the best way to report this problem.I'm running OS-X 10.7.4, with the latest Sophos installed and auto-updating every hour.

Twice in the last 48 hours I've had this malware come in via e-mail. Each time I told the Quarantine Manager to clean up the threat. Each time it appeared to go into a loop. I could not close the Quarantine Manager, and my mail program was also locked up. I had to Force Quit to close Mail and Sophos before restarting the computer. Then I purged the offending file myself, and everything ran okay.

We've been using Sophos going back to the days of Dr. Solomon's, and this is the first time there's been a problem in running it, so my goal is just to make sure that the developers know of this apparent problem. If or when I get another message with this malware attached I'll try to preserve it in case that would help. If I can offer any other information just let me know. I have the e-mail notification turned on for this message.

    We've been using Sophos going back to the days of Dr. Solomon's

    so you are a customer? Are you using the licensed version or the Home Edition? But nonetheless the two are identical in this respect so you could contact Support. Might also have come up in the FreeTalk forum for HE but I'm not sure. 

    Anyway you found your way around the issue. Did you try closing Mail before telling QM to clean up?

    Oh, and the Endpoint Protection board is probably the better place for this (apart from contacting Support).
