If I look under Most popular support articles and select Threat identity (IDE) files: overview I wonder why no one has complained yet. Under Related articles two out of the five links lead to Page not found: Threat identity (IDE) files: obtaining and Daily Supplemental IDE files. Side note: Finding information about threats says: Anti-virus vendors often name viruses differently. Project VGrep (from Virus Bulletin) can be used to cross-reference these names. Which products are indexed? on the Virus Bulletin site doesn't mention Sophos though (but since the information is from November 2008 it might not be up to date - didn't check the tool).
