unable to partition xg appliance

Hi all, I'm trying to install the xg software on my xg86w rev 1. I've tried ubuntu server on an external usb CD/DVD , Gparted, Dban, Clonezilla & parted magic. Always getting the same error message no suitable video mode found. I have also tweaked the BIOS from legacy, uefi arranging the boot order etc. even tried turning off CSM feature which made no difference. I would greatly appreciate any useful suggestions. Many thanks in advance.

Could you please let us know what firmware version you are trying to install on your XG86W?

Hi, im trying to partition my hardware which has has the HW iso 18.0.1.96 , so I can successfully install the SW iso without seeing sophos device detected message.
