Hello, so im on 2.1.4 and my computer is seemingly running a scheduled scan even though that option is disabled. A few times early in the morning my HDD will suddenly go to 100% use, and the most, if not the only, activity is from sophos file scan process.
When you open Sophos and get the main screen does the Last Scanned time change daily for that time as well?
If it does than you are correct and for some reason it is still scanning, I would uninstall and reinstall to see if this resolves your issue.
However if it does not show a last scanned to match what you are seeing than I would look for any other scheduled tasks that may run at that time, for example Windows update, which if it is downloading it will give the appearance of Sophos using more resources since the on access scanner will be being used.
