Notification Email in regards to latest threats

Hi,

I'm hoping this is a straight forward question, but not been able to find the answer?

I was hoping that Sophos had a notification process to alert Sophos IT Administrators about the latest threats and SHA files that need to be checked. So basically a threat detection warning email about the current threats going on and what to look for etc.?

Can anybody point me in the right direction to get this?

Hi Kev,

Sophos has a newsletter they send out weekly named Naked Security. They highlight some key security vulnerabilities as well as a plethora of other topics.

Additionally, you could use external resources such as websites like The Register which is commonly known and well reputable.

There are many sites, OWASP, NIST, CVE

CVE you can actually search by software, but if you want something more accurate you could look into something like tenable or nessus and actively scan your network daily or weekly for more current threats.
