  • Ok take 2.  My first attempt to post ended up in a error and I lost it.  Then I had to sign in again.  Then I had to subscribe to post again (DUMB)

I will make this a little cleaner than the last one.

    • Navigation sucks compared to astaro.org - fix immediately
    • To much wasted space.  Needs fixed immediately also
    • Lack of history adds to the confusion

I wish I could say I was surprised.  Ever since Sophos bought Astaro they have been forcing us into this stupid white background, big icon, wasted space format.  It does work and look good on some stuff but here it does not.  Stop breaking what works to force us into a square hole round peg solution.

We all come to astaro.org for answers.  We dont come her to admire how pretty our screen looks. We have video games for that.  I suspect the timer is already ticking on people giving up and not coming back here.  Since finding solutions are so hard to find and navigation sucks and we lost historical info these forums are beyond broken at this time.  I would suggest you stop what you are doing, reopen astaro.org back up and dont lock it down until you can do a complete import and make it user friendly as it is over there.  I really dont care if these look good on my phone or tablet.  Who does all their work on those devices anyhow?

Well I hope this posts.  I have already spent too much time here wasted giving my opinion on this.

    Matt

  • Matt, "Navigation" - I've seen people asking for "last post" and "page #" buttons - do you have a different gripe?

    Cheers - Bob

PS I saw that Matt already answered this. When I went to delete this post, I was surprised...

SUGGESTION: When a member deletes one of his/her own posts, no reason should be required.  If I, as a mod, delete someone else's post, then I should be required to give a reason.
