Things that need to be fixed on Astaro.org - add your suggestions

Edit 2015-11-06: It seems that the first two forums are the only ones where threads display more than the OP at the moment.  Someone is in as vb_admin working there now.

  • A related issue is that NONE of my saved links to posts like 'DNS Best Practice' work anymore - all get "404 Page not found"
  • Where a link is to the first post in a thread, things function correctly.  This is the case for the Rulz post however the link to the diagram of packet flow is broken.

  • Hi Bob,
    I added one yesterday after trying to search the old UBB and being returned a 404. I had to ask this site for assistance which was forthcoming from previous UBB members.

  • Needs to be fixed: Every dead end 404 on astaro.org.

    Posts re-populated. Others providing functionality to get closer to the original function/content (like searches) and in some cases behaving as if logged in.
  • One thing that I found really helpfull was the counter next to a heading to see how many had read an article and posted into it.
    I don't know if this new system can support this or if other found this helpfull.

  • It appears that all of the posts have been restored, but you can't go back further than November 2014 by navigating through the pages of each forum to find the older threads. All of the old links appear to work now and anything found by doing a Google with site:astaro.org is viewable.
