One ZTNA Gateway for multiple Central subestates

Hello,

is it possible to use one ZTNA gateway in Sophos Cloud mode for different Central subestates or, in other words, use the same connector VM for different cloud gateways?

I guess using the local deployment mode it is possible - did not test it yet tho.

Kind Regards

Philipp

  • Hi Philipp, if I understand correctly, you want to make use of a single OVA file that you have downloaded to set up multiple gateways? If yes, you should be able to do that. The ISO file with the network settings however will be unique per gateway and will have to be downloaded individually.

  • No, I want to make use of one single config / iso for different sub estates.

We are using Central Enterprise Account and have like 20 sub-estates in there.

I just wanted to know if it is somehow possible to let sub-estates use the same config, like create the gateway on one sub-estate and "simply import" it to another.

  • Hi Philipp, ZTNA does not support the central enterprise dashboard as of now. So, it is currently not possible to share configuration across sub-estates. Agentless access can work across sub-estates, but you will still have to bring up gateways in each sub-estate.
