I tried to setup RDP against a RDP Cluster Farm, but it seems not to work.

Are therw limitations?

  • Hi Sven. Could you let us know a bit more about how your deployment is? Currently,  RDP access to servers is fqdn based only. Ideally, if you define the RDP server as a resource, you should be able to access the system as long it is reachable from the gateway. Even if there are intermediate brokers, it should work fine as long as it is resolvable. Any more info on your deployment would help.

  • Hi, RDS Farm is switching to IP after contacting the Broker. I think this should be handled by ZTNA too. Otherwise there are a lot of complicateted doings.

When I setup an RDS Farm with every Host and his Hostname, there should be an option in the ZTNA Resource to handle it within one Resource.

At Customer Is must setup 30 plus Resources for a single Farm. This should be possible through one Resource an may be wildcard like "srv-t*.company-name.de"

  • Thanks for that feedback. While its currently not possible, adding wildcard applications is there as a part of our backlog.
