Is it possible to use some AD users as web appliance administrators ?

If you mean log in with ad credentials as a particular role.
No.
Users must be set up within the appliance under the guidance of the role editor. configuration / accounts / administrators.
helpdesk,policy reporting. etc
That would be a much appreciated improvement IMHO
I second this. Compliance regulations more and more push us towards a centralised authentication method for administrators - AD or RADIUS
