Exchange 2007 SP3 Support for PureMessage 3.1.0

Question

I am running SBS 2008 with Exchange 2007 SP2 plus update rollup 4 installed. I have been made aware of a security issue (Microsoft Advisory 2401593) that is of particular concern to my business and I want to install SP3 for Exchange 2007 as soon as possible to patch this vulnerability.

Sophos does not list Exchange 2007 SP3 as compatible with PureMessage 3.1.0. As I have no test environment can anyone tell me about their experiences with this configuration?

After successful completion of testing without any issues encountered, official support for the below versions/SPs was announced today for PME 3.1.0:

• Exchange Server 2010 SP1 
 • Exchange Server 2007 SP3 
 • SQL Server 2008 R2 
 • SQL Server 2008 SP2
