Groups Access for end users.

Hi Guys,  Anyone experienced this?

When we log into ...28443/groups/logsearch  and click on an email to find out more info, a new window opens but then says:

Error

Click here to return to the web interface

Error message

Unable to retrieve message details from remote host

Not sure why this is happening. Its been fine for ages.  Any ideas?

    Does this only happen for messages on a specific host?  

    If it takes a little while for the error to be displayed, it could be that we are timing out.  Have a look at remote_search_timeout in /opt/pmx6/etc/logsearch.conf


    Often this happens with very large raw logs on the remote host, that haven't been rotated off.  This will include all /opt/pmx6/var/log/message_log* files.  Are these large in size?  As a test you can disable inclusion of raw logs like so:
    pmx-group --set-perm --user <NAME> --permission logsearch.preview.rawlogs.message_log --value off

    Other than that I would also check that DNS resolution (the FQDN of the remote host) and connectivity are OK.
