False Positive for Troj/Unif-B causing severe economic damage.

We represent BrightSrv, a managed services company working with publishers to deliver optimal and timely ads from premium ad networks.  Your web security product is causing all our publisher sites to be blocked.  There appears to be a false positive for any javascript being driven through an iframe.  The message comes up as "High Risk Website Block\n{publisher site name}\nAccess has been blocked as the threat Troj/Unif-B has been found on this website"  We have manually scanned every file and line of code and trapped every process on our servers.  We have no breach.  Clearly there is an error with your detection signature.  As you provide no datacenter support level contact information on your website, consider this as notice that your product's false positives are causing severe economic harm.  We are experiencing substantial damages.  Please contact us at once to resolve this situation.  Bill Franklin brightsrv.com.

  • Hi BrightSrv,

I understand from SophosLabs that this situation has been discussed with you offline and your concerns are being addressed. By all means, let us know if you're still unhappy about anything, either here in SophosTalk, or direct via the channel that has opened up.

In general, if you have technical issues of this sort, contact Sophos Technical Support direct. Contact details are, in fact, available from the link that appears at the bottom of every knowledgebase article.

    Regards,
