Front End Virtual Email Appliance for SPX with Back End Physical Email Appliance

Is it possible to use a front end virtual email appliance for SPX only with the back end physical email appliance still doing the rest of the required work?

    Thanks for your post.

    I'm not really sure what you mean when you refer to a 'frontend' virtual appliance?

    Are you referring to it as sitting in front of/to the side of the hardware appliance in order to just deal with SPX encrypted emails?
