I am experiencing an issue with my Sophos Web Appliance. When I configure a Windows XP or Windows 7 workstation to use the web appliance as an explicit proxy (setting the Internet Options to use the Sophos Web Appliance as a proxy in the Connections settings), my workstations are unable to connect to BOINC projects, transfer project data or get project updates. But if I bypass the Sophos Web Appliance (remove it as an explicit proxy in the Internet Options settings), my workstations connect to BOINC projects just fine. A similar problem occurs with the iTunes App Store. Are special settings required on the Sophos Web Appliance?
