We have recently enabled HTTPS scanning and are now having problems using Skype. I have logged a support call but haven’’’’t really got anywhere.
The guys on the support desk have explained that Skype’’’’s own protocol paired with HTTPS scanning can be problematic as it does not detect the Skype traffic as valid HTTPS traffic. I was then asked to add skype.com and skypeassets.com to the globally allowed sites which has not helped. I’’’’ve also tried excluding the URLs that I can find for Skype to the HTTPS Scanning exemptions list.
Does anyone have any other ideas how to get this working?
