How long Sophos Email Appliance can hold emails if exchange server is down

I would like to know how long incoming emails can hold in Sophos Email Appliance E100 if exchange server is down. Also how many emails can able to hold in sophos for a certain period.

Any one please help. We are planning to migrate the Datacenter.

This depends on the disk space available. This product is not designed as a mail server so keep the downtime to a minimum but unless you have insane amounts of emails, you should generally be fine.

Incoming Email flow is less.

Appliance : ES100

Harddisk: 250GB SATA
