Multi VLAN Issue

We have WS500 with Cisco ASA5500 configured in transparent mode. The setup has been working fine until we needed to add a second VLAN into the network.

How can we configure WS500 so that the second VLAN to bypass it? We do not need any of the devices on this VLAN2 to be filtered.

So the issue at the moment is that no devices on VLAN2 are able to connect to the Internet.

If we disabled WS500 from the network, both VLAN1 and VLAN2 are able to connect to the internet. What we meant by unable is that with the current settings, launching any browsers from the devices on VLAN2 will get "page cannot be displayed" errors.

  • Hi Stephen,

In Network -> Network Interface, there is advanced setting/bridge configuration button where you can add a host/network so that the appliance skips proxying any traffic for this (both as a source or destination). This may take 5/10 minutes to apply but should work.
