Integred Authentification OWA

Hello,

First I apologize for the quality of my english, I am french.

I have a server EXCHANGE 2016 with OWA in Active DIrectory domain.

In my internet browser if i bypass the proxy, the integred authentification works well.

But when the PROXY is set up, when I connect to my OWA I have an authentication.

I would like to know if it is possible to configure the WEB APPLIANCE for OWA integrated authentication works and that I do not need to type my login/password.

Thank you

  • Hi Julien,

If you wish to create a bypass for authentication you will need to complete a few steps..  here is a my authentication KB as a reference : https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/126599

Step 1: create an authentication profile.

    configuration / system / connection profiles /

    add

Connection profile name : OWA Bypass

Please add IP addresses or IP ranges : 192.168.0.0/16

    save:

    Step 2: apply the bypass.

    configuration / system / authentication / profiles

add the profile you just create.

    select "bypass" authentication

    add our custom OWA URL

    Name it, Save it.

The change will take up to 10 mins to take effect

    Special note:

If you are accessing OWA internally your probably better off to create an exclusion based on your deployment mode .. so if you using proxy, add the site to the proxied omissions, or if your using transparent create an asa rule to send the traffic directly.

internal sites should always be committed from the appliance as its default gateway will be the WAN.
