Every day or so I'm receiving notification that oculusd not running - restarted.

software appliance, 8gb ram.

Note, a bug was created for this, and a test RPM installed on my system which has resolved. Looks like will be in next beta / final release

That is correct. This issue is fixed in 9.6 GA release.

It is tracked under NUTM-10414 [Network] Segfault in oculusd.
