WAF Rigid Filtering rules list and meaning

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a documented list of all the rigid filtering rules for ModSecurity. My reason is I am publishing a web server and a few people, not everyone, has the odd issue using the site. I can sometime see ModSecurity ID rules being triggered which I can put a skip on the filter, but how do I know what I am skipping and what if I am allowing a security hole through to the web server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
